I just uninstalled the LabVIEW 2012 SP1. Now I have LabVIEW 2013 and the TI NXT 2013. It works like a charm. May the NI developers hear this voice and fix the LVI2012SP1 and LVI2013 problems. This would be a huge plus for the LabVIEW users!
Srujal,
I think what the problem is, is you have a LabVIEW 2012 installation, and you want to install a module for LabVIEW 2013. You can't do that. You need to uninstall LabVIEW 2012 and then install LabVIEW 2013. Then you can install the LabVIEW 2013 module. The LabVIEW 2013 module won't work with LabVIEW 2012.
ParleyWed, 23 May 2013 20:33:06 +0000Srujal TripathiI am trying to install the LabVIEW NXT Mindstorm 2013 module. The LabVIEW 2012 installer prompts me for a labview installation. I have LabVIEW 2013 installed. I am not using LabVIEW 2012. I am using LabVIEW 2013.
Can you help me on this one?

Actually, I don't think it is an issue with the LabVIEW installer. I have done the same thing and can install and run LabVIEW 2012 and 2013 modules in the same LabVIEW setup. If you have tried to install a module in a particular LabVIEW version, then you will have to try that version.
The issue that I could find on the forums is related to an issue with the LabVIEW installer.
This is what you get.

I have the same problem. When I click the download button, I am prompted to select a file type. When I select the.dws file, LabVIEW is not listed as a valid option, only LabVIEW 2012 or higher.
I am using the NI website to download the product. I am not sure if the product is for the NXT version or the ESP version but when the INSTALL button is clicked, it asks for the version number. I think I have the right version of LabVIEW but it does not work. Please help!
