The K2 mission was launched on 5 March 2009 to search for rocky planets in the habitable zones of Sun-like stars, primarily by performing transit photometry of target stars. A total of 156,347 targets were observed in the original mission, lasting until the end of the Kepler K2 science operations in 2018. The K2 mission was officially declared complete on the 4 September 2018, with the conclusion of the fifth and final extention phase. In the first three extention phases (K2-3, K2-4, and K2-5), more than 150,000 targets were observed, with more than 100,000 new scientific objects discovered. As of August 2017, K2 has produced almost 4,600 scientific publications. In addition to the transit observations, K2 also observed almost 9,000 targets in the ecliptic plane as part of the Planet Hunters and Ecliptic Plane Input Catalog programs. The data products from the K2 mission are archived at the Mikulski Archive for Space Telescopes (MAST).
The K2 Handbook is a minimum of two years old and out of date. The MAST Archive has been updated regularly with data products and instructions for using the data. Users are encouraged to consult the K2 Archive Guide on the MAST website before downloading or analyzing data. Other links to information about the K2 mission may also be found in the K2H, including a K2 description page on the archive website, links to supporting K2 data and general K2 information pages on the archive website, and information about the K2 reaction wheel anomaly in the archive.
The archives hosted by HSLA are designed to be easily browsed and downloaded at least in part. The archives are organized into programmatic'samples' that can be browsed by keywords. A few examples of samples are:
the K2 Campaigns sample which groups together information on all K2 campaigns
the K2 Photometric Quality (K2PQ) sample which contains all K2 photometric data and ancillary data
the K2 Stellar Properties sample which contains information on all K2 targets that do not have light curves
the K2 Variability sample which contains information on all K2 targets that have light curves
This is the first in a series of K2 mission handbooks, following on the Kepler Mission Handbook (KSCI-14093). The second Kepler Mission Handbook (KSCI-19107) will be released in March 2017 and the third mission handbook is planned for release in the summer of 2017.
Please help me, I have contacted Dell and Microsoft about this, and I think they have just brushed me off. I also need to know if Vista 32 bit is compatible with a 64bit processor. I have a Dell PC that was a gift and my friend is a non technical person. 827ec27edc
